With the new year comes resolutions and in my case revelations. Ever since I started this jewelry business I have racked my brains trying to figure out a way to get and stay organize and keep my sterling and other tarnishable metals safe, while at the same time being retail ready.

While keeping tarnishable metals in plastic baggies does keep them safe, people have told me to take everything OUT of the baggies for craft shows. Do you realize what a pain in the ASS that is. Yes I cussed.

Finally came up with what I think is a good solution. :O)

Howdy everyone. Been crazy around here for a few months, but now I'm
back. Hubby is all healed up and roarin his big tigger roar again :O) Sooooooooooo who's ready to see some new pics???

Here we goooooooo. This pretty ring was made with a technique I'm a little new to, but I LOVE IT!!!! Weaving!!!! In the first picture you cannot see the woven underpart, but the bead on this ring is gorgeous!!! One of the many beads purchased from a fellow Etsian 'beadsyouneed'. Her shop is awesome, and if you get a chance, please visit her jewelry shop too, you won't be dissappointed.

I'm so proud of this necklace for many reasons. First off it has on it one of my first "expensive" single purchases; the gorgeous pendant. The pendant is handblown glass with specks of sterling silver inside. Purchased from this wonderful etsian Lithomancy.

Another reason for pride is that it is closed with a handmade clasp which I made myself. That gorgeous pendant isnt' going anywhere!!! And thirdly, the triple strand of liquid silver----gorgeous. This pendant when I first got it 'screamed' triple strand. LOL

My next artist, Randi100 was my first response to the thread I started. After looking thru her shop at all the wonderful pictures I finally chose this one. Why? Well one of the reasons is because it's just interesting. Can you tell it's a turtle? I love the design in the shell. The other reason was the description: "I took this picture while at the zoo with my family. I was hooked on photography after I saw how this picture turned out."
And here is a bit from her profile : "I am doing my best to embrace my inner artist as I find it brings me peace." As a new artist myself I agree with this statement. Well after a long rough week, we decided to take a day off and go to the lake. Hubby's work is having a weekend employee picnic and we will be leaving soon. They Call Me MK

My first etsy artist is someone who is very special to me. We met last year in October, I believe, and have gone through some wonderful experiences together in the virtual world. She has her own blog she calls it "They call me MK". We call her MK because it is easier to type than her full shop name, www.MissKnits.etsy.com MK as you can tell by her shop name loves to Knit.

Blogging what is it all about? That's what I used to ask myself. Many people are using blogs everyday to communicate with the "outside" world. This is who I am, this is what I do. You are invited to see their world for a minute a day a week or as long as you wish.

In my blog I will show you a part of my world that is becoming increasingly more and more important to me everyday. People, the people I have met through the use of my link to the "outside" world. These people are real, the live they breath they love, laugh and cry just like you. They also do something more, they are artists as well.

What is an artist? You think you know the answer, but do you really know what an artist is? Many people would blurt out "someone who paints" . That is a misconception we are brought up to believe. There are artists everywhere, the person standing next to you is an artist, you are an artist. Anyone who makes something, creates something, builds something, writes something, draws something, is an artist, you just don't know it yet.

My blog is about people who are artists, no matter what they choose to call themselves, they are artists. They create beauty, with their preferred materials and share it with the world on a common website called Etsy.

Etsy is a venue for Artists to share their work with the world. The communication among etsy members is awesome. Want something custom made, all you have to do is ask. It's that easy.

Now to introduce you to some of my friends.
